2010 Masters Grand Final On Saturday the 3rd of July Chris Owen was crowned the 2010 MPL Grand Final Champion!
Chris played a solid strong game magnificently defeating a field of 147 opponents, the most MPL have ever had at a main event. He also wrote MPL History by becoming the 1st player to Master a Quarter Final and Grand Final in the same year!
Year 3 Season 4 Quarter Final
The Year 3 Season 4 Quarter Final took place at The Grosvenor Casino, Walsall on Saturday 5th June 2010!
132 qualifiers participated for a 1st prize worth £1000 cash. Bapinder Singh, AKA "Bappy the Bluffing Punjabi", representing the Old Comrades Club, kept his cool throughout amidst some huge bluffs to become the latest Masters Live Pub Poker Champion.
Year 3 Season 3 Quarter Final
The Year 3 Season 3 Quarter Final took place at The Old Comrades Club, Smethwick on Saturday 6th March 2010. 127 qualifiers from 155 invites turned up participate for a GUKPT 1st prize worth £1060 or £1000 cash.
Leslie "Old Man River" Grew, representing the Three Crowns, battled on though and through to become the latest Masters Live Pub Poker Champion.
Year 3 Season 2 Quarter Final
The 2nd Quarter Final of our 3rd Year was hosted at The Old Comrades Club, Smethwick on Saturday 9th January 2010.
117 entrants braved the icy cold conditions to participate for a 1st prize worth at least £1000 cash. Chris Owen, representing the Host Venue, lifted the 1st prize after a gruelling heads-up with 3 x Duke Of York Champion, John Benton.
Year 3 Season 1 Quarter Final
The 1st Quarter Final of the our 3rd Year in running was hosted at The Old Comrades Club in Smethwick on Saturday 12th September.
128 players turned up to participate for a 1st prize worth upto £1060 to the GUKPT or £1000 cash. The marathon tournament was eventually won by Duke Of York player Gary Renolds opting for the £1000 cash.
Year 2 Season 4 Quarter Final
The 4th and last MPL Quarter Final of our 2nd year was held on Saturday 30th May 2009. The host venue was "Ye Olde Winne Shop", a sports bar in West Bromwich.
Graham Chance, representing Oliver's Army, won the day and was crowned our latest MPL Quarter Final Champion. Completing the dynamic duo, Susan Harvey won the charity raffle, an LCD TV,
